Sew & Grow: A New Sewing Adventure, Free/Booking Required

This series of workshops includes:
* Introduction to Sewing and Safety – the essential parts of a sewing machine, how to thread it, change settings, and sew basic stitches safely and confidently
* Practice core skills such as cutting fabric correctly, pinning, seam allowances, backstitching, and pressing seams
* Getting comfortable with straight stitching
* Sewing curves & corners
* Becoming familiar with different types of fabrics, threads, needles, and sewing tools
* Projects may include: a fabric bookmark, a tote bag, a pin cushion, a zipper pouch, a fabric coaster, a bowl cozy.
