Street Meets
What are Street Meets?
Community Resilience Network “Street Meets” are FREE, sponsored events, block parties and sausage sizzles designed to get folks together. No special training is required, and there’s no need to spend a lot of money. The goal is to create a welcoming environment where neighbours
can meet face-to-face.

Here from our happy neighbours…
“Our inaugural Street Meet at Twin Parks was a great success, bringing neighbours together in a relaxed and friendly setting. These free, community-led gatherings play a vital role in strengthening local connections, building trust, and fostering a sense of belonging. By simply sharing a sausage sizzle and a few conversations, residents had the opportunity to meet face-to-face, exchange stories, and lay the foundation for a more resilient and supportive neighbourhood.”
