Papakura Community Resilience Network (CRN) is presenting to the upcoming Community Civil Defence & Emergency Management Forum for the Auckland region on 23 May at Due Drop Events Centre.
We’ll be sharing what we do and how we coordinate with our rural neighbours in Franklin.
It’s fantastic to see local groups acknowledged for the important role they play in helping communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.
The forum includes sessions on:
– Radios & emergency equipment
– Auckland’s diversity as a strength
– Trusted information during emergencies
– Volunteer retention
– Rural and isolated communities
